Hi guys, I just came back from an amazing trip to Copenhagen or as the Danes say Kobenhavn!

This city is completely awesome, we saw many beautiful things and in one post it’s impossible to describe everything that we saw during this weekend.

So, I chose to talk about TIVOLI the most famous amusement park in Denmark. How can I explain it to you? Amazing, awesome, there aren’t words to describe the atmosphere in this park, between the light, the attractions, all is unbelievable!

You can find TIVOLI in the centre of Copenhagen just close to the train station, it was just near our hostel.

To enter the park there are several ticket options, you can just pay to visit, it costs 99DKR (approximately 13€) but if you want to do an attraction you have to pay more and the price depends on the kind of attraction. But you can buy a pass for 290DKR (40€) and do all the attractions without paying anything extra.

We chose to go to the park during the night to appreciate the light of all the attractions but we didn’t know it would be really different than during the day.

I’m going to talk about the light in the park, they have recreated some different atmospheres in the park, and there is the Indian part, the Chinese part and some other lights to illuminate the road, the restaurants.

When you go inside, you are like transported by the ambience, I was like a child in the park and yet normally I hate that kind of place! But in the park you can just enjoy the moment because it’s very beautiful and you don’t need to do the merry-go-round to really appreciate the park, just take an ice cream and listen to people screaming with fear on the rides because they are afraid of the attractions!

But for me it was my first time in that kind of place, and the others guys forced me to do the rollercoaster! I was totally afraid of it, my legs were shaking, in my head it was like “I’m going to die!!!!”

I'll tell you about my little trip on the rollercoaster, at the beginning I started by some insults for my friends, after I screamed and then I screamed again until the end! As you know there is a camera and it took a picture of me, my head on it is like “I’m very afraid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” or maybe “Help me!!!” but it was fun in the end. I’m not sure I’m going to do that every weekends but sometimes it can be cool.

After this amazing adventure we went to buy an Italian ice cream because I had been dreaming about one since we’d arrived in Copenhagen. I had a chocolate and vanilla (yum!) and even if it was 5°C outside, it was delicious!

To conclude this amazing evening we went to see a performance with water, fire, light and sound. It was totally awesome, they told a story and you are totally carried away by it.

So guys I hope I made you want to go in TIVOLI, really don’t miss this part of the city you'll regret it later if you don't go!

See you soon guys, and maybe on a rollercoaster!

Martin.
